With nine days until Christmas Day--and six days until the first night of Hanukkah--'tis officially the season for last-minute gift shopping. That definitely snuck up on me--and if you're in the same boat, you're probably starting to panic a little.

Maybe you've got friends and family handled. But what about employees, bosses, clients, investors, and the office Secret Santa exchange?

Don't worry--you're covered. My Inc. colleagues and I have compiled five essential gift guides this year for everyone on your list. Some of these items are seriously cool. I have my eye on the magnifier that upscales video from a phone to an 8-inch screen, the bike helmet with turn signals and LED lights for night riding, and the "smart lamp" that tracks temperature and humidity to improve your sleep quality.

While we're on the subject, I've received a lot of pitches recently about terrible holiday gifts--especially ones given by bosses to employees. So, I'd like to open the floodgates: What's the best and/or worst holiday gift you've ever received from a boss or colleague? Drop me a line.
