I recently named the 2015 film Joy one of the 7 most motivational movies for entrepreneurs and suggested when the Star Wars reboot came out that entrepreneurs should go see Joy instead.

So, yeah, I'm a fan of this movie. In fact, next week I'll be posting a podcast interview with Joy Mangano, the real-life entrepreneur played in the movie by the lovely and accomplished Jennifer Lawrence.

Anyway, Joy is being released on BluRay on May 3 is and now available on Digital HD, so I arranged with Fox Home Entertainment to get Inc.com readers a sneak peek at one of the bonus features.

The clip consists of the director of the film discussing the motivation of the main character, which is the feeling that becoming an entrepreneur is a "rediscovery" of the self.  I've heard many successful people echo this concept:

I know that in my own case, I'd started many businesses as a kid and a teenager. It was only after becoming truly miserable in my corporate job that I got back in touch with that desire to control my own destiny.

In any case, I found the movie very moving and this clip provides a perspective that I hadn't yet articulated to myself.  I hope you enjoy it as much as it did.
