Don't let the Facebook hoax fool you.

Another message about Facebook users needing to copy and paste a legal notice into their news feed is making the rounds. The message will likely claim you need to paste the legal jargon to avoid losing copyright control of your pictures or other content. A different version says Facebook will begin to charge you to keep your profile private if you don't post the language.

Facebook alerted users that they should disregard the message Tuesday.

Facebook dealt with a similar hoax in January, and a previous message reportedly circulated at least once before that. As the social network clearly states in its terms of service, "You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook, and you can control how it is shared through your privacy and application settings."
