Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are donating $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help combat the deadly Ebola virus.

Today, The New York Times reported that the mortality rate for Ebola has risen to 70 percent and that the number of new cases could grow to 10,000 per week by December.
