ABC's Shark Tank starring Mark Cuban celebrates its 100th episode Friday, but perhaps more exciting for executives at the network is a new show called Beyond the Tank, expected to be announced the same day.

As The New York Times reports, Beyond the Tank will follow entrepreneurs through the next stage of their startups, after they receive backing from the “sharks.” A deal for the spin-off has yet to be finalized, but will "definitely include" the business leaders from the original show, Sony president of programming Zack Van Amburg told the Times.

Shark Tank typically tops all shows on Fridays, averaging 7.2 million viewers last season, but devotees have expressed a desire for more stories about the entrepreneurs, this time as they take their products to market.

“This show is exactly what ‘Shark Tank’ fans have been asking: Tell me what happens when they walk out of the tank,” Mark Burnett, executive producer of Shark Tank and Beyond the Tank, wrote in an email to the Times.

The sixth season of Shark Tank premieres Friday, September 26th at 8 p.m.
