Inc.'s 2017 March Madness tournament will include four rounds of voting.

Round 1: 9 a.m. EST Tuesday March 14 to 5 p.m. EST Friday March 17, with 8 match-ups from which you'll pick four favorites.

Round 2: 9 a.m. EST Monday March 20 to 5 p.m. EST Friday March 24, with 4 match-ups.

Round 3: 9 a.m. EST Monday March 27 to 5 p.m. EST Friday March 31, with 2 match-ups.

Championship Round: 9 a.m. EST Monday April 3, with the final 2 startups.

Winner announced: Tuesday April 4.


Inc.'s 16 Coolest College Startups were selected from a list of more than 100 companies from universities across North America, most nominated by schools and college entrepreneur groups including the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization and the Kairos Society. Criteria included originality of idea, pitch, and growth potential.
