I know that time is mostly an abstraction lately, but as a friendly reminder, Father's Day is just around the corner. If that seems hard to believe, or if you're still looking for a gift for the tech-loving entrepreneurial dad in your life, there are a lot of great gadgets that he's sure to love. I've got you covered with this list of ideas any tech-savvy dad would want. Who knows, you might even find a few things on this list for yourself.

1. Totallee UV Sanitizer + Wireless Charger

Most of us never really thought about how many germs our smartphones are covered in until we became very aware of germs, well, everywhere. The new UV sanitizer from Totallee solves that problem in about 30 minutes. It also doubles as a 10W wireless charger. ($99 from www.totalleecase.com)

2. Brio Ultra HD Pro Webcam

If Dad spends a lot of time on Zoom meetings, you can help him look his best with a new webcam. Seriously, the ones built into most laptops are terrible. The Brio Ultra HD Pro from Logitech, on the other hand, is a little pricier than other options, but the 4K video means Dad will look great while working from home. ($199 at www.amazon.com)

3. HyperDrive DUO 7-in-2 USB-Hub

This is the perfect gift for dads who need to connect their laptop to multiple devices like a monitor and external hard drives, or to download an SD card. That's especially helpful if Dad has a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, since those devices include only USB-C ports. The HyperDrive solves that with 4K HDMI, 2 x USB-C, 2 x USB-A, and MicroSD/SD ($99)

4. Bose Home Portable Speaker

If you wanted to get Dad a smart speaker, but you weren't sure what to get, the Bose Home Portable Speaker has both Alexa and Google Assistant built in, meaning you can stream Spotify, set reminders, and get the weather, all with your voice. It's also AirPlay 2 compatible for streaming from your iPhone or Mac. It sounds great, has a handle for added portability, and it'll last 12 hours on a full charge, plenty of time for either work or play, or both. ($349)

5. Meater+ Long Range Smart Wireless Meat Thermometer

Look, I know--a meat thermometer seems a little questionable in an article about gift ideas for entrepreneurial dads. Work with me here and lean into the dad aspect for a minute.

The Meater+ is a wireless thermometer that connects with an app on your iPhone to tell you not only the current temp of your meat but also the time to cook. And it works with Amazon's Alexa. I promise that any tech-savvy dad will think this is the best gift ever because it's just that cool. ($99)

6. Apple Watch Series 5

The Apple Watch is, in my opinion, one of the best productivity tools--period. It also happens to be the best smartwatch available for a variety of reasons. It has the largest app ecosystem, it's a powerful health and fitness device, and it's a great-looking timepiece. The Series 5 includes an always-on display, which honestly makes the Apple Watch an entirely new piece of technology and the perfect gift for Dad. (Starting at $399)

7. Eero Home WiFi system

All it took was a global pandemic to realize that having a good Wi-Fi signal really is worth it. Not only are we spending large amounts of our day on video meetings, we also are spending lots of it streaming Netflix and Disney+. Help Dad make both of those more enjoyable with the Eero Home Wi-Fi system that blankets your entire home with fast, reliable coverage. ($239 for one base station and one range extender)

8. Moment Anamorphic Lens for Smartphone

Adding this anamorphic lens to your iPhone or other smartphones allows you to shoot wide-format while giving you the focal length and shallow depth of field of a telephoto lens. If you're not sure what that means, it means you can shoot cinematic-looking scenes with the camera on your iPhone, and it's very cool. Dad will agree. ($149.99)

9. AirPods Pro

I looked for another pair of earbuds, or a pair of headphones, I liked more than the AirPods Pro, I really did. I couldn't find any. Sure, there are better sounding wireless headphones, and there are even some with better noise cancellation. There aren't, however, any that have a better combination of both, along with ease of use, than the AirPods Pro. Yes, it looks like Apple may have an updated version coming soon, but I have no reservations telling you that Dad won't be disappointed. ($249)

10. Braun Series 9 Electric Shaver

Generally, the biggest problem with electric shavers is they never do quite as good a job as a straight razor. The Series 9 from Braun is about as close as you're going to get and will help get Dad looking cleaned up for those important Zoom meetings. In fact, the foil blades are controlled by a 32-bit chip that adjusts their power based on the density of your beard, giving you a consistent, clean cut every time. That seems pretty high-tech to me. Plus, it's waterproof and charges up in about five minutes. ($249)
