On this week's episode of Woman Inc., I sat down with Kirin Sinha, whose augmented reality company, Illumix, is helping brands build metaverse solutions. Illumix, which Sinha launched in 2017 when she was just 25 years old, boasts investors like Michael Bay and Disney.
With a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, and mathematics from MIT and advanced degrees in mathematics, statistics, and business from the University of Cambridge, LSE, and Stanford, Sinha is one of Silicon Valley's few minority leaders with a technical background. She founded the nonprofit SHINE for Girls, which empowers girls to learn math by building their confidence through dance, and was also named one of Variety's 10 Innovators to Watch, in 2021.
In this episode, we cover all things metaverse--from how Sinha believes a virtual world will function to the opportunities it may present for businesses and consumers alike. Tune in to hear Kirin's answer. If you have any questions at all about the metaverse, you do not want to miss this conversation!
