Ready or not, the holiday shopping frenzy is upon us all! Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Super Saturday are just around the corner. And those are just three of the nine "special" shopping days happening during the next six weeks.

This is obviously a high-stakes few weeks since it's when many businesses make the majority of their profits for the whole year.

A few intriguing numbers:

47% of consumers says the Internet is their favorite shopping destination.

56% of consumers say that rewards/loyalty points would influence them to complete a purchase on a social networking site.

84% of store visitors use their mobile devices before or during a shopping trip.

Mobile commerce will account for 33% of U.S. online holiday sales.

80% of online shoppers and 71% of in-store shoppers say email offers influence their buying decisions.

In the infographic below, my team at ShortStack pulled together a whole bunch of holiday shopping statistics, plus some tips that all kinds of businesses can use to their advantage, such as offering coupons, hosting contests and more.
