Autumn is a beautiful time of year. Yes, it's always sad that summer is over, but that doesn't mean Fall isn't worthy of the same affection. The leaves change from green to an incredible display of vibrant colors, just as your cheeks get a little ruddy from the colder weather. To me, Fall is a time of preparation for rebirth. Bears fatten up for the long winter hibernation, squirrels stockpile acorns, and trees shed their leaves to make themselves heartier for the coming cold. When nature reawakens in Spring, this long rest will have served them well.
So, too, must people use the Autumn to prepare for Winter and, eventually, Spring. The work done now lays the groundwork for success in the future. It's this solid base that allows later work to build up into something great. Let go of the old and clean out the clutter now, so you can invest your time in what really matters.
