Thanksgiving ticks closer every second. If you're hosting, you have to buy the ingredients, start your kitchen preparations, clean the house, and make sure you're ready for a crowd. If you're visiting, you need to make sure you have a host gift and remind yourself and your team to be on best behavior. For innumerable reasons, the holidays can be stressful. So it's fitting that the holiday season kicks off with a day that's solely intended to remind you about all you have to be grateful for.

Don't allow the various holiday pressures to cloud what's most important. Stay focused on what matters, and enjoy the little things. Most of all, keep gratitude as a primary emotion:
