The landscape of work has seen a lot of changes in the last few years, and more than likely the conversations surrounding these changes will only continue to gain momentum. The future of work is also coming at a faster rate than ever before. Technology can incite rapid shifts forward, humans, on the other hand, need more time to catch-up. It's a fascinating mixture of huge steps forward in functionality and smaller steps forward in shifting cultural norms.
I see this all the time in my research. The science is understood well before it is inculcated into the way we live. At the heart of this is human behavioral change, which is hard to do but infinitely possible. With neuroplasticity, we know our brains have an unbelievable capacity for growth and learning, but when it comes to getting people to build new habits, it can seem almost an impossibility.
