It is unfortunate that all of your readers could not listen in person to George Labovitz relaying his organizational behavior war stories. While reading "Bottom-Up Management" (Face-to-Face, June), I remembered Dr. Labovitz lecturing 500-plus students at Boston University, capturing us with his practical approach to management. His participative management account of "The Ten Commandments" appeared as simplistic in school as it did in your article -- until we were tested on it! After six years of business education, it is reassuring to recognize how relevant Labovitz's academic teachings are in my work today.
