We sympathize with those entrepreneurs who either fear or disdain planning ("Real Entrepreneurs Don't Plan," November 1985). You described very well the necessity for even the most seat-of-the-pants entrepreneur to anticipate the next threat (or opportunity) to his or her business. In the words of the legendary Yogi Berra, "If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else."
