Your informative article "How Do You Sell a Light Bulb That Never Burns Out?" (March) says that the trade-off for a longer-lasting bulb is either higher energy costs or less light per watt. This is technically incorrect. It is possible to have more light, less energy, and longer bulb life all at the same time. We are putting such lighting into some of the largest buildings in the nation right now.
