Hats off to Bob Popaditch for taking on Orlando's supermarket giants ("Talking Cost," Cost Control, February). However, I feel that too much emphasis can be placed on what is largely historical data. Though the information Mr. Popaditch related to his managers was important, it should have been used as a reference point to guide future actions. Maybe being proactive instead of reactive would have been more productive. As it turned out, Thrifty Scot Warehouse Food closed.
