For those women who jumped all over the writer, I have one simple question. Would you have delivered such scathing remarks if the same tone and content had shown up in such magazines as Working Woman or Savvy? Those magazines are always pointing out the differences between female-run and male-run companies. Their philosophy, it may be presumed, is to enlighten women as to how this information can make them more effective.

Why do we react favorably to information if it is wrapped in a pink bow and negatively if it isn't? Perhaps the real issue is your female readers consider INC. to be wrapped in a blue bow in the first place.
