A recent study by the Center for Entrepreneurial Management, in New York City, identifies nine demographic, psycho-graphic, and behavioral characteristics that predispose one toward entrepreneurship:
offspring of self-employed parents
people previously fired from more than one job
immigrants or the children of immigrants
people previously employed in businesses of fewer than 100 employees
the oldest child in the family
college graduates
people willing to rely on outside management experts
realistic risk takers, not high-risk takers
people who are well-organized and good at organizing others
