Well, Remote.co recently shared with me some top companies offering sick benefits and perks that will make you do a double-take. And yes, they are hiring right now. (Note: Because unlimited vacation time is still the exception rather than the norm, the first ten companies on the list below offer it)

1. Project Manager at GitHub
The project manager at GitHub is expected to work on its design team but also with other internal teams, including marketing, product and sales. With remote workers in 18 countries, GitHub says it is "committed to keeping Hubbers healthy, motivated, focused and creative," and it offers unlimited time off to help.
2. UX Designer at Wikimedia Foundation
The UX Designer for nonprofit Wikimedia Foundation gets some particularly family-friendly perks. In addition to 100%-paid, seven-week "new parent leave" (that's right, for moms AND dads, and at a time when the U.S. requires zero paid leave from any company), Wikimedia Foundation also provides five weeks of paid leave to take during a pregnancy. And for parents who need to take their time phasing back into their jobs after new parent leave is over, Wikimedia Foundation offers "flexible options" to help ease new parents back into its workforce.
3. Online Visiting Professor at DeVry Education Group
The online visiting professor for DeVry Education Group gets to set his or her own hours and schedule. How does that work if the role requires teaching graduate-level classes in project management? The online courses are "completely asynchronous," which means the teacher and the students aren't meeting at the same time.
4. Project, Business Manager at Apsis Labs
This business manager role at Apsis Labs will benefit from a minimum vacation company policy of three weeks off per year. Apsis Labs also offers unlimited parental leave (with a one-month minimum), a paid annual social retreat that includes employees' partners and families, and a coworking space reimbursement for remote workers of up to $300 per month.
5. Digital Marketing Specialist at Articulate
The digital marketing specialist position has many perks. Articulate operates a results-only work environment, a.k.a. ROWE, so in addition to unlimited time off, it focuses on encouraging employees to develop autonomy, mastery, and purpose in their work.
6. Financial Manager at Teaching.com
The financial manager receives Teaching.com's unlimited paid time off policy. In addition, the company provides remote workers with a remote office stipend and hardware assistance, flexible hours, and an annual conference allowance for professional development.
7. Backend Java Developer at Bonfire
The Java developer benefits from perks like Apple devices, a competitive compensation package and, of course, Bonfire's unlimited vacation time.
8. Paid Search Manager at MWI
As part of its pitch to potential new employees, like the paid search manager, MWI says, "We're different than anywhere else you've worked. Good pay, unlimited vacation, no set work hours, work from home or anywhere in the world, full payment of premiums for health benefits-these are givens."
9. Frontend Mentor at Bloc
Bloc is making the old apprenticeship model new again, with perks like unlimited time and remote work for its frontend mentor employees.
10. Email Marketing Strategist at Email Aptitude
It's an opportune time to get in as an email marketing strategist. On its list of employee benefits, the "marketing and technology nerds" at Email Aptitude offer unlimited vacation days, "baby bucks" for new parents, "cool" technology, and "exciting company trips" alongside more traditional benefits like a 401k with company match, health and dental insurance, and more.
11. Data Engineer at Impact Health
This company offers employees such as the data engineer unlimited vacation time and remote working, but they do have "beachfront office paradise" in Playa Del Rey, California, and an urban loft in Pasadena, in case you get the itch to work from an office again.
12. Affiliate Marketing Lead at Elite SEM
If you like the sound of unlimited vacation, the person in the affiliate marketing lead role might also like Elite SEM's other benefits: flexible work schedules, four months of paid maternity leave, and educational stipends are offered.
13. Customer Experience Manager at Student Loan Hero
Remote workers, like the customer experience manager, receive some generous equipment and wellness benefits. Its job description says, "We'll hook you up with a $2,000 technology stipend to purchase a laptop or whatever helps you work. We'll pay up to $500/month for a remote office space (e.g., co-working space).
