1. I confess. I initially activated my Instagram account several years ago to stalk my kids (and I still use it for that purpose). However, now I'm primarily using it to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, build my brand, and garner inspiration from Instagramers that seem to have just the right message when I am pushing through a rough patch.

Instagram is the major leagues regarding social media platforms. Here are some usage stats

·       400 million monthly active users worldwide

·       More than 75 million daily Instagram users worldwide

·       30 billion photos shared to date

·       70 million photos are uploaded every day

However, it isn't just the usage. With such a large captive audience, it is an advertising power house. Instagram brought in $600 million in mobile ad revenues worldwide in 2015, and is forecasted to bring in $2.81 billion by 2017.

Engagement on Instagram is crushing engagement on Facebook and Twitter. Its per-follower engagement rate for top brands is 58 times higher than on Facebook and 120 times higher than on Twitter which is why Forrester calls it  "The King of Social Engagement."

Instagram executives predict it is on track to hit 1 billion users.

But enough about the stats. Let's get to the accounts. We're all influenced by the messages we see and hear each day. When I open my Instagram, I quickly scroll through to get my doses of Inspiration - My "Vitamin I." These snapshots connect me with various tribes that are seeking the same messaging I am seeking. I have hand-selected the messaging that resonates with me.

So now I share with you some of my favorite accounts, those that inspire, inform, stimulate, and resonate.  Start following them today for added motivation to move you forward.

(PS: Of course I'm on Instagram, and would love your Follow. I focus on high productivity, leadership, entrepreneurship, and creating a mindset of achievement & abundance. See you there: MarissaLevin1.)
