SupportSoft (NASDAQ:SPRT) and IT service and infrastructure management solutions provider, TuringSMI, have signed an agreement to allow TuringSMI to market and implement SupportSoft's Accelerator support automation solution with its Business Service Management (BSM) products.
Accelerator offers a comprehensive, integrated software and support service that increases IT help desk efficiencies, reduces support costs, and helps improves levels of uptime and staff productivity. The ready-to-deploy solution, designed to reduce problem resolution time, also helps reduce desk-side visits, call handle time of repeat problems, and escalation of calls to the next level of support.
"IT downtime is simply unacceptable for our customers," Ken Hastings, divisional director of TuringSMI, said in a statement. "The combination of TuringSMI's BSM and IT service management solutions and SupportSoft's automated support technology will allow our customers to improve productivity levels and IT uptime by having support analysts fix more incidents in the first call, fix them faster and fix them remotely."
