Rumors have been circulating for a few weeks about Starbucks' new seasonal offering.
No, it is not the pumpkin spice latte.
The "Zombie Frappuccino" was launched on October 26 and will be available in select stores for the Halloween holiday.
Weighing in at a relatively light 390 calories, the short term mixture has a variety of ingredients, including what the website calls "Zombie Mocha Drizzle" (Water, Sugar, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Vanillin), "Pink Powder" and "Green Caramel Apple Powder."
Much like Starbucks earlier short-term offering (and equally received), the Unicorn Frappuccino, the company's new Zombie Frappuccino has become an Instagram favorite. The reception to the product, however, has been wildly mixed.

Regardless, since the launch, the new product has been popular, with a few locations selling out -- to the utter joy of baristas.
Unfortunately, my closest Starbucks did not have one, so I may have to wait until the next special offering.
If you want one, however, you need get yours before Halloween, October 31, after which time the drink will disappear -- leaving its sugar-rush crashing consumers looking and feeling like the product's namesake.
