Our CEO often reminds us that "to build the right company, you must first tend to the company's culture." To that end, we've built a culture centered around community engagement, leadership development, and a family-oriented atmosphere. Before the pandemic, that meant company retreats, career counseling, and a wide range of periodic reconnects. These days, we've learned to lean more heavily on technology, regularly hosting virtual huddles to share success stories and brainstorm new ways to help farmers and ranchers in this new reality.

At AgBiome, no one has a boss. Instead, employees come together to form teams around different projects, and decisions are made on the recommendation of the company's internal experts. There are no personal bonuses, only a common profit-sharing program, so employees are aligned and don't compete with one another. The entire company meets every week, and employees are updated in full transparency, including on the company's financials. To foster our cohesive culture, we have assembled a collaborative team of employees who are passionate in their pursuit to have a positive impact on the world.

Our multicultural team hails from 20 countries, speaks 12 languages, and serves clients across five continents. We see that diversity as a strength and as a natural result of the respect we have for every employee. We emphasize self-care for employees, offering weekly mindfulness meditation, fitness classes, and nutrition coaching (all currently held virtually, because of the pandemic). Our employee assistance program offers free counseling and support services for employees and their families. We take a proactive approach to improving employee satisfaction. Our management ensures employees have access to bimonthly, monthly, and quarterly training and certification requirements for each position. At AIM Consulting, we focus on social responsibility, community leadership, and volunteerism. Our company supports nonprofits and community organizations locally and nationally, and we encourage each of our employees to spearhead their own internal groups dedicated to women in consulting technology.

One of our key values is to "listen like you're wrong." This year, we've had unique opportunities to get creative in supporting our team, including our Guide to Staying Sane, a living document addressing topics like isolation, working from home with kids, and depression. For our annual incentives trip in May, we executed a gifting strategy that allowed employees to virtually visit various Four Seasons resorts with margarita kits, robes and slippers, and gift cards for a future Four Seasons stay. Our team is our most valuable asset, and we continuously seek input to improve our culture.
