WHY WE THINK WE'RE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
Founder and CEO Kate Finley has been intentional about building a positive, people-first workplace culture. Our agency's purpose is "to empower meaningful work and thriving relationships." We choose to partner with clients that align with our vision and values, which, in turn, engages the team in our work. This means sometimes saying no when a relationship has the potential to negatively impact the team and their ability to do their best work. Belle Communication operates with a flexible work-from-anywhere model, offers progressive benefits including unlimited vacation, IRA matching, profit-sharing, and eight weeks' paid maternity leave (up to 12 weeks total). We also close our offices for two weeks over the winter holidays to recharge and spend time with our loved ones. As an all-remote team, it is important we build in time to connect and foster positive relationships internally. We have a weekly hangout over video just to chat about life. We have Slack channels dedicated things like music we're listening to, new recipes we're trying, and baby and pet photos. We take annual team trips focused on spending time together, with culture-building activities like conquering an escape room or taking a sunset boat ride to see dolphins.
