Culture is the most important part of our work. One of our pillars of culture is philanthropy: We take great pride in giving back to communities in need. Another pillar is mindfulness: We have a meditation room in the office and encourage mindfulness practice daily. A third pillar is games: To bring people together, we host games several times a week, from daily trivia and racing games to family feud or a charity fundraising competition.

We emphasize the importance of giving back, whether through volunteering time, donating funds, raising awareness for social causes, or providing mentoring, training, and education opportunities for the local workforce. We close our offices on the last Friday of each month to support these efforts. We also value teamwork and close the office frequently to help the team connect through activities such as rock climbing, go-kart racing, and sporting events. Employees might also watch or join epic Ping-Pong matches or Xbox battles after lunch, while enjoying a cold drink.

We offer transparency in compensation. When candidates receive an offer, they are offered three salary/equity combinations to make the choice that’s best for them. Day-to-day meetings are inclusive and board meetings are open to all team members, including new, entry-level hires. To ensure that power does not become too centralized, we do not have an official headquarters, and more than 40 percent of our company is fully remote.
