We believe that it's important to take great care of your team and the people they care about. So we cover 100 percent of our team's medical, dental, and vision (and 50 percent of their dependents'). We offer unlimited PTO and a remote-work policy that allows our team to live and work anywhere they want. We just launched an internal employee training program in copywriting, SEO, email, finance, and other areas that will help our team members level up for the future.

Our culture permeates every decision we make and every person we hire. In a word, our culture is saturating. Third Thursdays is our oldest tradition. It’s our monthly time to get together outside the office, leave deadlines and spreadsheets behind, and just have fun. Today, our employees coordinate our Third Thursday events themselves, including concerts in the park and Office Olympics. As we grow into new markets, each of our offices establishes its own Third Thursday tradition, making it a point of pride for all Embarkers.

Family members of employees get unlimited salon services at no cost, and employees are provided a four-day workweek with weekends off, which is uncommon in the salon industry.
