GroundFloor Media enjoys a unique culture based on celebrating accomplishments, encouraging camaraderie, and giving back. Agency team members enjoy a long list of traditional benefits, along with an equally long (if not longer) list of not-so-traditional benefits. As a result, the agency enjoys an extremely low turnover rate among its full-time employees and has been recognized numerous times as a "Best Place to Work."
We have never had set office hours. Employees can work anywhere, at any time, as long as work is completed. The team refers to this as "work-life blend," as it allows individuals to get their work done and still attend children's soccer practices, get their hair cut, or take off early on Friday.
Our president strives to continually keep an eye on every team member's workload. We regularly review the status of client projects and related team-member bandwidth, making adjustments as necessary to help balance workloads. We are committed to giving back to the community. Full-time employees are allowed and encouraged to take up to four paid hours per month to volunteer with a charitable or nonprofit organization of their choice (part-time employees are offered two paid hours per month).
