WHY WE THINK WE'RE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

Ibotta is disrupting the old legacy industry of coupons and rebates by connecting consumers with a simple app that provides cash rebates based on purchases - no paper cutting, no nonsense. Ibotta is enabling smart brands and conscious consumers great freedom as they connect with each other in the marketplace. Work shouldn't be a chore, and at Ibotta, management strives to keep an environment where every employee has a good time, knows how much their work is appreciated, and has access to all information. From team outings and personal dinners to the matched 401(k), employees at Ibotta know that they're being well looked after. At Ibotta, employees are trusted, and this trust and transparency forms a core of the culture. The management style is hands-off, yet supportive, allowing great autonomy and agility across departments. It often feels like being in a startup within a startup, while still maintaining a close-knit structure of support and shared insights.

Company Description

WHY WE THINK WE'RE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

We are, above all else, a family. Every employee is passionate about the success of our company. The majority of salary employees are offered stock options as part of our salary so that we are all invested in the growth of our organization. Every employee, no matter what area under which they function, is not only encouraged but enabled to share ideas. We are always looking to grow and improve our environment, processes, culture, and business. In order to cultivate an amazing place to work, we do a slew of activities to show employees appreciation.  Some of these include unlimited PTO, company breakfasts and lunches and cellphone and parking reimbursements. Our company offers free gym membership to O2 Fitness (all locations), heavily subsidized group health care (which is definitely unique for a small startup like us), vision insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k), and free air filters for life. Our dress code is "whatever clothes enable the highest level of productivity."  We have no required attire.  You'll often see folks in their gym-wear or their pajamas.

Company Description

WHY WE THINK WE'RE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

Barker Pacific Group, Inc. (BPG) is a small company which offers an excellent team based environment. Employees work together in growing the company and contribute to its overall success. Every Monday a meeting is held with all company employees where progress is tracked and issues addressed. When someone needs assistance in other locations, team members chip in to see projects are completed successfully. Employees are given a comprehensive benefits package and all employees are able to see returns for their hard work ethic each year end with a bonus program. Turnover is low and on average, out of the 20 employees participating, 16 have been with the company 10 years or longer. I believe what makes BPG successful from a teamwork perspective is the owner Michael Barker is accessible to his team and provide guidance when direction is needed for projects. Communications is key and from security, maintenance, to the BPG office employees. Our employees and external third party agencies that help run some of our buildings are included in this communication as an integral part of our business process. This cohesive environment orchestrates the success of our business.
