At Table XI, we've built a culture of mutual respect and support--and the systems to maintain it. For us, culture isn't about perks. It's about intention. We want everyone to feel safe taking risks. We developed a sponsorship program that pairs each person with a mentor when they start. We developed a low-tech way to facilitate conversations about career development, using sticky notes to quickly share and prioritize goals. We're open about failure, too, with the CEO sharing his three biggest mistakes.
