We invested in hiring a head of people operations early in our startup. Over the past two years, when we went fully remote, we've had to rethink how our people might experience our culture in a fully online working environment. To enrich our experience, we've created an online learning curriculum around diversity, equity, and inclusion topics and bring in outside speakers. We also empower team leaders to choose quarterly team-building exercises and conduct regular employee engagement surveys to listen, learn, and improve.

Our platform fosters company culture by rewarding and prioritizing individual health and wellness. We encourage our employees to make positive nutrition choices with $500 to Thrive Market or Whole Foods. Our employees are eligible for a $500 donation to organizations to support initiatives they are passionate about. We cover 100% of employees’ health care deductibles, and the majority of the annual premiums, while absorbing yearly increases in rates.

Company culture is extremely important to us, whether it’s remote, hybrid, or in our custom, perk-filled office (think: massage chairs, darts, and a stocked tiki bar).
