You gotta aim to be the light in people's day. Compliment them and bring positive energy.
Shift Your Focus.
You need to shift your focus away from yourself and onto those around you. Aim to serve. Your agenda is to make those around you feel good about themselves.
One thing I like to do is greet people in an authentic and energetic way each time I see them, immediately injecting them with positive energy.
"Yoooo what's poppin Shawn?! Lookin' FRESH man!"
"What's up Stephanie?! I heard you killed your performance last night. I see you out here killin' the game!"
Being charismatic does NOT mean being the loudest person in the room, center of attention, or taking over the conversation.
Additional ways to make you more charismatic:
-Listen! When people are speaking to you, absorb every single word they say. People love to feel heard.
-Be authentic. Give genuine compliments that you actually mean. If it's fake or disingenuous, people can sense that immediately.
-Smile and exude positive body language.
-Put yourself in other peoples' shoes and try to understand the world from their perspective.
