I don't know about you, but I've always been a big fan of the Amazon "Reviews" section. It helps me get some pretty unique insight as to what people really think of products - unfiltered and unadulterated.
Not only that, but Amazon reviews are some of the best humor content on the Internet - if you haven't checked them out in detail I recommend them - they will help you get through a brutal Monday morning.
But while there have been plenty of great articles written about "Hilarious" Amazon reviews, I've yet to see the analog for tech employers. Thanks to Glassdoor we have copious amounts of material to riff from.
I decided to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon at a coffee shop finding the best... so you don't have to. To protect the identities of the innocent, I've blocked the company logo.
But can you guess which Silicon Valley-based companies these reviews come from? Hit the comments section if you think you may know some of these employers.
This is priceless. As if the headline weren't enough, you will also become "part of the furniture" at this place. Let's just hope they are using Eames chairs?
Well, at least you know this company starts with "Zen", so big hint there... Bonus points to this reviewer for coining two new and amazing terms: "Zeneworstjobever" and "Zeneslave".
Lots of BS without output? Wait, isn't that like every management consulting firm on the planet? I'm just picturing Andy Garcia or Al Pacino walking the halls of this place playing favorites.
Wow - I guess I know where I'm sending all of my enemies now. Pure gold - "if you are single, expect to continue to be single, if you are married, expect a divorce". This place sounds like the 7th circle of hell.
It looks like the company above has the whole "rest and vest" thing nailed from the HBO show "Silicon Valley". Though in all seriousness, I hope for his/her sake the reviewer landed at Google.
