What types of jobs are these? Well, a little bit of everything-even some surprising job titles, like pharmacist, football scout, and threat researcher. But, the most popular work at home jobs are what you'd expect-Writer, Consultant, Customer Service Representative, Sales Representative, Engineer, Account Executive/Manager, Software Developer, Case Manager, Medical Coder, and Adjunct Faculty.
Not all of these are 100 percent at home-adjunct faculty at a brick and mortar school will be teaching on campus, but the preparation is at home. Of course, with today's online learning models, you'll be likely to find adjunct positions that are 100 percent from home.
If you're interested in working from home, check out these companies and these jobs. It's popular enough now that there should be something for everyone.
*While I talk about working in your pajamas, I don't really advocate it. I've worked at home for 9 of the past 12 years, and while I occasionally do some work in my bathrobe, I find work goes much better when I treat work like, well, work, and wear regular clothes-albeit jeans instead of a suit and nylons.
