Hilary Swank was once offered $100,000 to play a role in which her male co-star pocketed $10 million.

That wage gap isn't just something that happens to celebrities in Hollywood. Nationwide, women earn about 80 cents to every dollar earned by a man, on average. The gap is even wider among women of color, who earn roughly 63 cents per every dollar earned by non-Hispanic white men.

In this Inc. video, Swank details what she'd like to see in response to women being held to different standards than men in the same or similar roles.
