On February 2, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos will battle at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium in Super Bowl XLVIII. But before, during, and after, big brands will be battling each other to see who can capture American consumers' attention with creative commercials and other video advertising.

Your business may not have the cash to buy a Super Bowl ad, but it won't hurt to have a creative video tailored to the big game. Unruly, a marketing technology company, has made an infographic (below) that dissects the importance of online video during the Super Bowl; for example, the company says that every 24 hours, ads related to the game garner 500,000 shares. No matter what time of year it is though, the overwhelming statistics in the infographic make clear the opportunity brands have to use video to grab eyes and infiltrate conversations online.
