Drybar has been phenomenally successful since Alli Webb founded it in 2010: The California-based hair-salon chain now has more than 70 locations across the country and a product line sold through major retailers including Sephora and Bloomingdales.
But that doesn't mean that Webb finds it easy to relax.
"As soon as I'm walking into any of our stores, I just tend get a little anxiety and tense up," Webb says in an Inc. video. "Because I want things to be a certain way. I want things to be perfect."
Fortunately she's learned to let go of her need to control things. "At Drybar, most of the time we're pretty busy and it's like controlled chaos. You have to kind of embrace that," she says.
In the video above, Webb takes the viewer through a packed day in her life during a business trip to New York City--she works on an Instagram shoot, gives advice to two budding entrepreneurs, and, finally, returns home to her family.
