Inc.'s 2017 Coolest College Startups competition is now down to the final four. And if Round 3 is anything like Round 2, these startups have a tough road ahead.

Here's a recap of how this week's voting shook out: Drexel University's Boost Linguistics, creator of an artificial intelligence tool for marketers, bested Colgate University's Fair Harbor, maker of swim trunks from recycled plastic bottles, with a whopping 46 percent difference in votes. In the next pairing, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's TV mounting provider, HUK TV, won the match against Colgate University's airport search app maker, Trippie. HUK TV won by a 17 percent margin.

Also with a 17 percent difference in votes, Iowa State University's KinoSol, the maker of a tool for dehydrating food, won against University of Iowa's SwineTech, maker of a lifesaving tool for pigs. In the final pairing, which pitted Carnegie Mellon's 101 against and University of Southern California's Drone MVP, the competition was fierce. In the end, 101 won by a very slim margin.

The Final 4 matchup begins today and ends this Friday, March 31, at 5 p.m. EST. Boost Linguistics is competing against HUK TV and KinoSol against 101.
