9. QDI Stone
QDI Stone, an importer and distributor of stone flooring, tiles, and more, clocks in at number 1,627 on the overall Inc. 5000. QDI is also the 9th fastest-growing startup in Phoenix. With CEO Arif Surmen at the helm, the company's three-year growth rate is 262 percent.
8. AZ Tech Finders
One of the hottest HR recruiting firms in Phoenix landed at number 1,626 on this year's Inc. 5000, with a three-year growth rate of 262 percent. Founded in 1998, this small company is led by CEO Sharon Bondurant. You'll appreciate their slogan: "Talkin' Nerdy since '98."
7. Desert Care Landscape Resources
The name, Desert Care Landscape Resources, may speak for itself, but so too does good word of mouth, which this company has in spades. The 4th fastest-growing company in Phoenix is a business products and services startup named VCA. Under the leadership of CEO Christie Acevedo, VCA can tout an impressive 438 percent revenue growth rate between 2010 and 2013. That helped land the 10-year-old company on the Inc. 5000 at number 1,056.
3. Owens Harkey Advertising
This marketing agency, ranking at number 812 on the overall Inc. 5000, is the third fastest-growing company in Phoenix. Headed by CEO Scott Harkey, the company's three-year growth rate is a whopping 561 percent. Owens Harkey claims to "kill it in the digital space," and it looks like its customers agree.
2. Clear Title Agency of Arizona
This real-estate firm--a provider of title and escrow services--is the 2nd-fastest growing company in Phoenix, and with a 680 percent three-year growth rate, it's also number 671 on this year's Inc. 5000.
